Blue Star Families gave me a challenge. My mission, that I chose to accept, was to sit down to family dinner for 7 nights in a row, no exceptions. While this week was an unusual exception to our already busy lives, it was perfect to showcase how a busy military family is able to sit down for dinner every night. Deployments, TDYs, moving, sports, meetings, etc, can all derail the family dinner.
