Veterans returning from Afghanistan and Iraq face insurmountable odds when reintegrating back into life. And to top it all off, they still face a massive federal bureaucracy that is DOD and the VA. They are expected to figure a lot of the systemic requisites out on their own. And God forbid if they don’t have a caregiver or an advocate to help them navigate this unyielding system.
